Spring is Coming.

Spring is coming.
The warm weather tends to make me feel empowered.
I feel like I can do anything with warm weather and sunshine.

However, I do want to say that life is quite blissful for me right now.
The Lord is good.
The Lord is sooo good.
The Lord is showing me His goodness.

Recently the Lord has spoken to me.
And it is one of the most crazy, true, and intimate times I have had.
God is so good.

Psalms 34:8
"O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him."

I am so glad I have found refuge in Him. The past year was one of the hardest years of my life, but one of the most refining. It brought me closer to Him, which is the most satisfying place to be.

I had one of the best Valentine's Day in a very long time.
It was filled with the color pink, chocolate, and love (don't read into it, there was no romantic love).
I was more excited about Valentine's Day than Christmas. It is one of my favorite holidays, besides Easter.

Also, ORU recently had homecoming.
It was so exhilarating, to dress up, have a gentleman open the car door, and laugh with friends all night long.

Here are some pictures to show the wonder of the night:

Me and the fabulous date, Michael.

Jenny and me, a lovely friend.

Amy and me, one of the most refreshing friendships.

A Beautiful Winter Day

It is a snow day here.
And it feels like a blizzard.

I am absolutely loving it.
There is a reasonable excuse to stay in my room, have tons of skype dates with best friends, and drink warm coffee.

I need to do tons of homework and clean up a bit, but I just love how wonderful it is to sit and relax.

The Lord has been doing so much in my heart recently. I get overwhelmed, excited, emotional and humbled when I think about the goodness of the Lord.

He has saved me from so much. He is refining my life.

On a side note, singleness is very apparent at this time of year. If you would like to be reminded of it, walk into Walmart and see the propaganda for Valentine's Day. Also, I am sure they will gladly sew a scarlet letter "S" on your clothing so that people know you possess the gift of  "singleness" (you will only get that joke if you had to read the book Scarlet Letter).

well back to homework and listening to grooveshark (my new love)...
